Particular waste materials are packaged into Collections. It is a way of celebrating the diversity of material handling that occurs in my studio practice. The enshrinement of the waste acknowledges the respect and intimate relationship I have with the materials. They may commemorate advancing to a new stage in a project or completion of a work. Collections also occur as portraits of individual who made a mess in a shared space. Materials: Ash, Hickory, Walnut, Birch, Oak, Pine, Steel (carbon, stainless, and mild), Copper, Brass, Aluminum, Lead, Gold, Silver, Vinyls, Polyesters, Polyethylenes, Polyurethanes, Acrylic Paint, Oil Paint, Varnish, Enamels, Cotton, Jute, Sisal, Coir, Wool and Hemp. Semi-Conductors, Ceramic.
